Another Nothing Day and That Is What I’m Afraid Of

I covered my index shorts and took in about 1% between the NDX and RUT short. I’ve been worried about a sideways mild decline to remove overbought conditions and then a bolt to new highs. It looks like the indexes are acting this way and we will have proof of this possibility in the next few days.

My little stocks had quite a give back today, but I did sell some of them, but not in my core porfolio of these stocks. What I mean is that I still have all the privately posted stocks in one portfolio that I will not sell. Yet in a different account I will follow stops, and take profits in these stocks. One is system based, and one I use objectivity to determine if I want to buy or sell.

I did keep my SRS short that I purchased this morning (really it was more of a hedge). I couldn’t trade it as I was stuck at the DMV waiting on getting a new license – great experience, a real time sucker – and I did not have that particular account setup on my iStockManager program in my blackberry.

I bought QID also. I didn’t post these buys on the blog, they get posted on Twitter. I also picked up some DENN as a spec trade as well. We’ll see what happens with that one – I could easily stop out of that one.
