With todays down move my Rydex Longs are feeling it, but my portfolio shorts are rocking profitably. Hopefully that continues.

With the never ending bottom making the market is going through my beta portfolio is making money. Seems like a little amount for alot of drop in the market. Quite frustrating.
ROSE is leading the pack with a 7.57% gain and SCHK the losers with a 6.48% loss. These two virtually cancel each other out.

There have only been a few select times where the NDX was this oversold, the days surrounding September 11th as one. The Dow and SPX are oversold as well, but nothing like the NDX. I will stick with my beta shorts, but am long at Rydex.

The two highlights of this portfolio so far are MOVI (Movi Gallery) up 63% of this writing and SFP (Salton).
Salton is currently up over 14% while Movi Gallery had better than expected earnings report and said would be open to a BBI, Blockbuster takeover deal. Here is a link with more info on the matter.

KRY is showing potential daily “beta system” sell signal today. However, the XAU is on a buy at todays close. Sometimes sell signals, when they are wrong, they are wrong for 1 big day. Might occur with KRY, but never know.
