I flipped my index shorts back over to the long side and covered up my QID midday. Hopefully I didn’t just get whipsawed.
Alcoa seemed to have good earnings while announcing a monster sized buyback. Should be good for the large cap indexes tomorrow morning. Good thing thats what I went into. Long S&P 2x funds.

They have all done very well since then.

Lehman Brothers beat their number this morning I’m expecting fireworks post Federal Reserve meeting announcement at 2pm. Hopefully it will go my way. Yes the earnings were beat on taxes and not on earnings, but people expected a shoe to drop today from them and they didn’t get it.
