JOYG, CPST, DRYS, GU, EDEN, EWZ, DRQ, CAT, KOL.
Of these stocks which ones do I still own?
CPST (can’t complain about that).
EDEN (can’t complain about this one about to break out).
EWZ (bought it back yesterday, was too depressed to post yesterday about it after seeing DRYS bust 100).
So why I am upset about DRYS going above [...]

Long ideas:
Solars: STP, ESLR, DSTI, HOKU. As crude rises, solar should rock and roll.
ETFs: EEM, SSO, QLD - Long the market now and want to get more long.
Semis/Tech: WDC, KLAC, ONNN, TXN - Semis turning around here, there are more semis that haven’t been made that could run here.
Oil/Gas: DRQ (Which looks fookn outstanding here), [...]

Yesterdays post is dated incorrectly.
Worked:
YGE - I sold out of YGE today completely for a 21% gain.
CPST - I sold half my CPST this morning @ 2.4 and the other half 2.44 for total gain of 20.7%.
INTC - I really have no patience for this stock. Its still good, but I dropped it today for [...]

Looks like my SNDK purchase yesterday might pop today.
Citi Investment Research reiterated “Buy” ratings on industry leader Intel Corp., Germany’s Infineon Technologies AG, communications chip maker Broadcom Corp. and flash memory maker SanDisk Corp., among others.

I’m going to need more than the 1.73% pre-market bounce though.
AMTD is popping 5.6% pre-market and the ask is at [...]

I cashed in the SMH calls for 38% profit as I saw the market coming down and didn’t want to chance losing anymore profits on the trade. You can take this as a sign that the SMH will probably be going up another 2 bucks. I always sell these type of trades way too early. [...]

We’re gonna see if all my bs analysis and overthinking in the Semis works out. Bought Nov 37.5 out of the money calls ahead of INTC numbers tonight after the bell. In at .64. There is heavyish volume again in this strike today. The Nov 35 puts though are really seeing tremendous volume and I [...]

I mentioned on Friday that I took profits. With the big money I had no trade on the table. Sitting in cash is what worked today. My stocks got pummeled though so that sucked.
CBST - That trade worked today. Made a little bit today. They report Wednesday.
I thought it was very interesting how bad of [...]

I bought call options in SMH today because I think the SMH might pop next week yielding some short term profit.
1. The charts.
Now the weekly SMH chart:
If we get back to the $40 highs I’ll be ecstatic, but I’m only looking for a $1 move higher for right now.
2. I noticed some decent buying in [...]

I’m really only posting the CSCO chart because its a barometer for so many other tech leaders. Many charts look similar to CSCO’s after todays big action.

Being long - sort of? The index funds and QLD did turn a profit despite the last hour selloff today. I’m talking as if I sold out of my longs. I did. I’m in complete cash. I hold no positions in any of my accounts right now. 100% cash across all accounts.
MRVL - I got [...]
Got out at 1.65. Locked in 14%. I got in at 1.4 and mostly at 1.45. MRVL is breaking out today. Selling these calls could have been a very bad trade. The August 17.5 calls are up over 80% today. My account value is at a new high and its a Friday. I’ll definitely look [...]

Being Long. My index funds got walloped today, like most people who were on the long side.
This didn’t suck at all: I did manage an intraday trade of RUT calls that turned a handsome near 9% profit in a matter of minutes. I liked that.
I made two trades today that will piggy back on a [...]

I mentioned ZL within one of the two last stock lists I post. I bought some today.
Zarlink Semiconductor Inc. (NYSE/TSX:ZL) today introduced the ZL(TM)70101 transceiver chip, an ultra low-power RF system-on-a-chip solution for use in implanted medical devices, programmers, and monitoring base stations.
Building on Zarlink’s MICS technology platform, the ZL70101 transceiver chip delivers high data [...]
After the pop a few days ago then the pullback. ONNN is now ripping again! Up about 4.5%.
