I wanted to list the dogs of the dow for 2005 as this strategy is very popular with investors. I have never personally employed this strategy, but I will post them anyways as its interesting to look at.

C - Citigroup
PFE - Pfizer
MO - Altria Group
JPM - JP Morgan Chase
VZ - Verizon
T - AT&T
MRK - Merck
AXP - American Express
DD - Du Pont
GM - General Motors

The strategy is simple. Put an equal dollar amount towards each one of these stocks and replace them every year with the latest list of Dogs of the Dow. You can check out this site for the most current list of Dogs.

Or if you are a stock screener try this screen:
Index = INDU or DOW or DJIA (depends what the screen uses)
Yield >= 3 (at least for this year)
