Basically we thought the upside break was something interesting, something exciting, something fresh for the trading market we’ve been in for the last month, BUT NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today XNayed yesterday’s entire move and then some.

I covered up my longs yesterday considerably. I was very very lightly long so I didn’t take massive amounts of damage, however, I did make a mistake of buying this morning’s weakness. I was really wavering and thought the moves in the VIX and VXN were enough, but they weren’t. Both of those indexes had ridiculous moves higher over 25%.

Today was a potential trend changer and I know that a move like today doesn’t end in one day. Monday morning should be bad too and that is the reason I covered it all up today at the close.

I did try my snipe strategy with CCK today, but it didn’t work out. I woke up late and didn’t do my premarket scouting so it was kind of duct taping this new strategy and it was probably a mistake. Lost less than 1% on CCK trade.
