I’m Long

December 3, 2009

After wrestling with where the market is going, I decided to get back on the train and get back long.

One of the clues of this bifurcated market was the KRE the regional banks. As big banks are dipping, the regionals have been turning up. Are the big banks signaling something on the horizon? Maybe. If they are I’ll react when it happens and not before hand.

I covered alot of shorts today as well. MCO which is still on a sell is just not working. Covered GLD puts, begrudgingly. I know I’ll be right in GLD, but at this point I’d rather be somewhere else.

I did take a short in SEED via dec 10 puts and sold them for gains when it dropped large.

I went long AONE, NEP, and SQNM in small ways.

I am long NDX, RUT, SPX via the usual 2x funds, but not without taking losses in these funds by attempting to short.
