JOYG, CPST, DRYS, GU, EDEN, EWZ, DRQ, CAT, KOL.
Of these stocks which ones do I still own?
CPST (can’t complain about that).
EDEN (can’t complain about this one about to break out).
EWZ (bought it back yesterday, was too depressed to post yesterday about it after seeing DRYS bust 100).
So why I am upset about DRYS going above 100 you ask (must be a new reader)?
-I owned TBSI and DRYS on April 3rd. Essentially I never had a reason to sell DRYS other than a profit. My methods had me on a buy the whole damn way up. The bottom line is that its about a 75k swing for me on my DRYS calls.
However, the more I delved into when I started getting back into DRYS and TBSI again I forgot about 4-11-2008 stock list and checked out how they performed. I gotta say in a month’s time the performance was amazing.
I built this spreadsheet that includes the gain or loss of each stock on the list based on a closing price of 4-11-2008 to the closing price of today 5-16-2008. DRYS 69% fwiw (F$ck!), but its not the best performer even still.
Just so you don’t think I pulled these numbers out of my anoos, here are all the charts. Hover over the chart to see the symbol or click on a chart to see it in full.
How did your stock list do in the last 30 days?

1Moral of the story, you have too many stocks on your lists.

2Sia,
I guess everyone takes what they want from it.
What I take is that my research is really good and I should just follow it.
An average gain of 22% for a list of 32 stocks inside a month of trading is pretty impressive. That list essentially just beat 98% of mutual funds with only 30 days of trading. Pack it up right here and go on vacation for the rest of the year.
My index trading has beaten the performance of QLD since then. I’m doing 35% since that period.
