Movi Gallery Shines In The Beta Portfolio
The two highlights of this portfolio so far are MOVI (Movi Gallery) up 63% of this writing and SFP (Salton).
Salton is currently up over 14% while Movi Gallery had better than expected earnings report and said would be open to a BBI, Blockbuster takeover deal. Here is a link with more info on the matter.
The Beta Portfolio is almost guaranteed to go on a sell this Friday (tomorrow). This means to sell all stocks in the portfolio at the close and buy new stocks Monday at the open. I’ll announce those stocks Monday morning.
This is the way the Beta Portfolio is supposed to work. 1 or 2 huge winners make up for all the losses and then some of the other stocks. Don’t get me wrong there are lots of times, however, where all seven stocks are humongous winners as well.
The big losers this week for the portfolio are FNSR and IOM at -11% and -10%…Thanks MOVI!
