Pemstar Merger Approved By Shareholders
“Pemstar Inc. (PMTR.O: Quote, Profile , Research) said its shareholders approved the merger with contract manufacturer Benchmark Electronics Inc. (BHE.N: Quote, Profile , Research).The transaction is expected to close in the first week of January 2007, at which point Pemstar will cease to be a publicly traded company, it said in a statement.
