Real Estate Investing In 2006
Real Estate is bloated. Its been said and felt by everyone who has invested in Real Estate over the last 6 years.
Economic data released last week shows that its NOT the time to be buying real estate for investment.
U.S. previously owned home sales declined in November to an eight-month low, leaving the number of homes on the market at the highest level since 1986.
Home sales dropped 1.7 percent to a 6.97 million annual rate, the National Association of Realtors said today in Washington. Purchases have been slowing since they reached a record pace of 7.35 million in June.
Real estate market cooling or bubble ready to pop? Probably a slow bubble deflating like a pin pricked balloon.
All I know is that I wouldn’t want to sell real estate here and if I owned, I’d prepare myself to have to sit through this deflation for a nice 4-5 year sag. I’d be a buyer of foreclosures though within that period.
