I posted about SMDI earlier today. SMDI has made new highs since then. Currently up over 5%. Thats a big move for this stock. IMO this is a breakout. The first gap to fill is at 9.73 from 7-12-06 and the next gap is at 11.84 from 7-7-06. Today SMDI is breaking above the weekly ma(50) on better than average volume, I would say strong at 1.5x normal. Typically this is not a good short candidate. The short interest/float ratio in SMDI is relatively high at 20%.
