One of the hot stocks today was IHOP aka IHP if you like stock symbols.

Who was talking about IHOP in the stock blogging solar system? Nobody. I’m getting alot of searches for it to my site today.

Here is a link to where I first mentioned that IHP was a buy. It was actually in response to a negative post from some blogger on a big financial website. Feel free to google for it, because I forget which one it was.

Why is IHP hot today? Did somebody burn a T-Bone destined to meet a plate of eggs? No.

IHP acquired APPB aka Applebees. Although I haven’t had the pleasure of dining in an Applebees since about 11 years ago during the freshman restaurant sample spree (and I don’t plan on going back), I think IHP made a nice aquisition. The market seemed to like the news too. I don’t know who they are, but people seem to love the food at Applebees.
