This is the first official rewind.

So I’m checking my stats as I usually do and I see a visitor found StockRake.com by looking for BHP Billington. Specifically the search phrase was: bhp billington mining stock.

I decided to check the date of the post this person was viewing. The date was June 15th 2006. Lets see how BHP and the other stocks did since my posting.

BHP – I called one of the bottoms in BHP on that date. You can see it tripled bottomed over the year and then has now started to trend.

QCOM – “at a lower price, I like QCOM, but not yet.” QCOM did indeed go lower before becoming a buying op.

CIB – Better money was made if you took profits rather than hold till now.

PTRY – I said it looks interesting. If you got out in October 2006 you had a profit, otherwise you don’t have one now.

NAPS – Up 35% and a solid near bottom call.

TM – Had a shot at a full 30%. Currently up 20% if you still have it.

ESRX – Called it a buy near 68. It went as low as 58. Now its at 97. You could have gotten out in the 80s though 1 month from my call in June 2006 or 17%.

CKCM – I don’t have a chart of CKCM, because CKCM was bought out. At the time of my post CKCM was around 18 bucks and they got taken out in September of 2006 or less than 2 months later at 22 for a gain of 22%. Weird.
