BSC gets taken out for $2 a share today by JP Morgan and the Fed takes on the debt.
LEH and MER down hard premarket, while JPM up 1% because they are benefitting from this deal.
The Fed also cut the emergency lending rate to 3.25% and opened up the window to Investment banks as well.

Sold VRUS @ 27.5 for a loss of 3.7%,  AAPL Feb 130’s @ 6.4 for a gain of 12.5%, Sold BSC Feb 90 calls @ 5.6 for a gain of 14% overnight, ZIXI @ 3.53 for 0%, FRPT @ 4.6 for 5.7% gain.

Being long. Indexes rallied nicely today and closed strong.
About 1.8% in the NDX and 3.5% in the SPX, while the RUT did 4%. It looked sketchy this morning when the market started to selloff, but it hung in there and performed the rest of the day. Some notable laggards on the NDX today were GOOG [...]
