This Morning Started Out Right

The morning started out right and tight. I woke up late about 9:45, the overnight shorts started to work and I pressed my positions with SDS calls, SSO puts, IWM puts, TZA, and DTO/USO puts. There are bad trend breaks everywhere. GOOG for one. I posted this chart to chart.ly near the close. After posting it, I bought 1 OTM call in GOOG. As I thought the risk/reward was worth it. It was. Even though the call will probably be near worthless tomorrow, the idea was worthy.

Made 70% On AMD Calls, I F’D Up Again

The AMD Jan 9 calls I bought yesterday for .10 I sold this morning for .17. 70% gain overnight, sounds great right? Wrong. For a trader who got lucky buying these scrubby calls on short notice that would be a good gain. However, this is not how I operate, surely not Monday through Wednesday.
