Just sold the QQQQ puts from yesterday. 18.5% gain. I think there is more to go, but can’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Sold on the 10am 5 min bar. Sold for .83.

If you got in on my BRCM put trade, today BRCM did reach its 200dma. The 200dma was my target so I would recommend taking the 30%+ gain today. The puts are up nicely. I got out too early for no reason at all. I mentioned that I made a mistake on that already.

I sold off my QID and TWM positions around 2:30. The 2x beta funds are something I have to worry about. I don’t know what I’m doing there.

I’m going to look for a farther out time frame. Options expire next week and I didn’t want to see what the market will do Monday and Tuesday. Might be a bad move, but the puts were still worth something right here and I didn’t want to chance it.

Being Short.
The puts are up about 7%, the QID position is up about 1%, the Rydex funds caught about 1% today as well. Overall very nice for a no big deal day. I’m still short with all positions mentioned.

Sold the QQQQ puts and took a loss. I saw the 5minute bars were not cooperating so I bailed. Took an 8% loss on that one. I will look for a better spot to short. We could be there now with this small move up.
