Well for a diversion from stock picks today I’m going to post my predictions for UFC 71. I’m a huge MMA fan and have been since UFC 1. So here they are.

Chuck “The Iceman” Lidell over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson – Alot of people are picking Jackson to stop Chuck’s reign, but I think Chuck will reach out and touch Quinton.

Karo “The Heat” Parisyan over Josh “The Peoples Warrior” Burkman – I’m a Judo practitioner so I gotta go with the Judo guy. Moreover, Karo always puts on a sick fight.

Ivan Salaverry over Terry Martin – I’m taking the underdog because I’m a fan of Salaverry. A very smart fighter.

Keith Jardine over Houston Alexander – Showcase fight for Jardine, should win easily.

Kalib Starnes over Chris Leben – Leben is really tough, I’m just taking the underdog here.

Thiago Silva over James Irvin – Although I like the way Irvin fights, I think this will be a tough test for him that he won’t overcome.

Sean Salmon over Alan Belcher – Sean Salmon got worked over by Rashad Evans, however, he started out really well. Alan is a scrappy dude, but Salmon might just be too much muscle for him.

Din Thomas over Jeremy Stephens – My boy Din is going to win this one.

Wilson Gouveia over Carmelo Marrero – This might be the closest fight of the night. Hard to call as I think its a pick em.
