Wachovia Buried, Citigroup Taking Over

Well it was nice knowing you Wachovia. I’ve been banking with First Union for about 6 years before Wachovia took them over. My first serious bank account was with them going back to college. Wachovia screwed themselves with the purchase of Golden West “Toxic Paper” Financial. They blew themselves up with that transaction.

Thanks for the memories Wachovia.

PS there was a malfunction in the Dow’s morning bell this morning. As little as this is, traders are ultra-superstitious. Be careful today, because if the market was to make a major move downward today, people will point to that bell malfunction as an ominous sign looking back. DON’T FORCE ANYTHING (self).
