At the trading close I went long the Dow with 2x etf DDM. In @ 60.70

Today an oversold signal that I use showed up today for the Dow. I took a shot at a one day trade. When the Dow turns green either Monday or Tuesday (and should close in the green) I’ll unload and reshort.

I did nothing with my “big money” today and plan to use that to reshort the market on the next bounce.

What else worked?

ABAT – Hit a new high today and up 9%. I’m up 17% since the buy yesterday. Trading Markets can summarize what happened today with ABAT.

AMZN – Great short trade midday with the put options. I don’t know whats up with my server time, but I think I just fixed it so that posts will have the right time or close to it when I post. The AMZN post says 6:24am, but I’m east coast. Check the graphic for trades and actual times.

Went long TBSI as well. Up a few bucks from the buy point today. Bulk shippers look poised for another pop, bigger than what happened today to the group.

So I’m net long for 1-2 days and then want to get short any bounce. There are a lot of short ideas out there, but I think the entire market just needs a breather bounce right now to normalize some things, then it will be ok to get back in the short trade again. Gotta be fast.
