I swapped to the long side in the index funds yesterday afternoon and now I see the futures are up big this morning on CPI data. I want to sell into strength. Probably take it to cash if I see a big up morning. Yesterday looked really shaky for the short position, so I flipped it based on quite a number of my proprietary indications. We could be seeing a Pop and Drop type day today so be careful. This is where the market gaps open and then sells off to close the gap and often sells off further.
