Went Short At The Close SPX and NDX

Home / Leveraged ETFs / Went Short At The Close SPX and NDX
August 25, 2009

I bought the inverse 2x NDX and SPX funds at the close. Its about a medium position. I’m looking for a drop tomorrow obviously. I also bought some VLO Sept 19 puts, some MTW Dec 7.5 calls, Oct YRCW 2.5 calls, YGE Sep 10 puts, and YGE Dec 9 puts in an attempt to test out a new strategy. I will flip the VLO trade on a decent drop tomorrow.

The markets have been stalling the last two days and is the reason I went to cash on Friday and have been waiting for an opportunity to strike. I hope I’m right.

If you don’t follow my twitter, I sold alot of positions today. Some winners, some losers, but mostly winners.
