Being long. I cashed out my index long today with a big loss for the week. Its in the neighborhood of +10%. I’m still up in the neighborhood of 20% for the year in my index trading accounts. Drawdowns suck no matter what, but when I take a look at where the major indexes are on a yearly basis, I’m kicking their ass. It helps alot mentally when going through these periods.

-8% yearly gain in the Nasdaq
-4.5% yearly gain in the Dow
-2.6% yearly gain in the SPX
-2% yearly loss in the RUT
-20% gain for me

I also made a great trade with SVA. I was happy about that. This definitely didn’t suck.

NBG was up yesterday that was pretty good.

Practically everything else I own was down however.

I cashed out of my index trade and will look to play an upside trade at least once next week, but will look for more downside once we bounce.
