Being long. Indexes just dumped today. I lost about 5% on my NDX position. NOT GOOD. Its fucking up my yearly performance bigtime.

CSCO didn’t help. Very similar to ATVI. Good numbers…well ATVI were amazing numbers, and the good news is getting sold.

Late day CSCO calls buy – What a flop this trade is. Certain stocks buck the trend regardless. MSFT did it, NILE did it, FSLR did it bigtime tonight, CSCO could’ve done it, but CSCO must have been a very very crowded trade. This CSCO trade was one where I was just looking to trade something. Thats never a good plan. Learn from my mistakes.

Selling NDAQ. I missed out on more move. Caught the bottom in this stock and I let it go early. I won’t make the same mistake with NYX. NDAQ is a great stock. This is shaping up to be another DRYS, EXM, SNDA, UTHR, CROX, like miss for me.

I’m still riding my end of year bullish thesis, so I’m expecting the moves down to be quick like we had in February and July. However, my bullishness has cracked and my ability to stay long the Nasdaq is in serious peril.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.  I’m hoping for an October 22nd type reversal, however, the technicals are significantly worse than they were in October. We have retail sales (which is expected to bite), and Bernanke talking.

I just got reminded of my shitty ATVI trade, when a commercial for Call of Duty 4 came on during the Heat/Spurs game. I normally fast forward, but since I’m typing this up I saw it.
