I’m changing the title of the WWT and WST posts and combining them. Most days something almost always works and something almost always sucks.

What sucked:

Being long the indexes and taking my profits yesterday when they were on the table. Today was another aggrevating, frustrating move that is going to get under the skin of traders. People across technical analysis land are going to be calling today a breakdown of sorts and that we are on our way to test the Jan lows. Some TA’s might think we need another day of downside to confirm a beakdown. Personally, I think its a fake out. I’ve talked about these in the past and this time I think the setup is there again.

The technical analysis has pretty much lined up rather well from the November drop until the January lows. However, in February, the volatility is keeping everyone guessing. So much so that I think the technical analysis is ripe to be wrong next. At some point the people who don’t use TA and that number in terms of dollar amount far outweighs people who use TA will come back and buy this market. I think that time is coming very soon.

There is a saying that goes something like, “there are alot of charts at the bottom of the sea.”

These CBAK calls. Such a forced - stupid trade. Down, but not out. Chart still looks like it “could” explode upwards. China can you get up off the mat?

YHOO calls - Another forced trade. I really just threw that on as a hopeful trade that the higher bid would come sooner. It wasn’t apart of anything that I normally trade and when I step outside the box it tends to not be a good trade.

UWM - Sold at a loss. Lost th advantage when I didn’t take the 3% gain on the morning gap up.

FRPT - Sold for less than 1%

What worked:

MCF - Out @ 69.67 for 4% gain

SEED - Out of the last bit @ 8.9% gain. I actually like it alot still and will look to get back in.

ZIXI - Up 7%

TITN - After selling out of this yesterday, I went back in this morning @ 18.6 and then doubled up this afternoon @ 19.6. Altogether up less than 1% and green.

NOEC - Closed where I bought it yesterday. 0%.

GRO - Up 1.5%. Shaping up.
