Happy October. What worked today was obviously being long. I was long the index funds, but didn’t have a full position on with those. It was still a huge day because the RUT put in a 4.8% day and the NDX did nearly 2.5%.

The SMH calls were a great overnight trade of 28%. I will look to buy these back because the SEMIs still have not broken out and I think they will this month. KLAC looks good.

SVA – 58% continues to rock.

KTOS – 9.5%

QTM – 9.4%

AZK – 14.6%

VSCI – down 1.5%

ABAT – 30.5%

GLOB – 3%

AMX – 5.7% Broke up out of its little flag formation.

UVE – 9%

HCN – 12.6% This REIT is still going. Can’t wait to get that divy.

HSVLY – Another new high. Up 14%. Looking for that divy.

JAVA – down < 1%

NDAQ – 12%

QMAR – Only up 10% in 11 trading days, but it broke out today on good volume.

I bought ID, GIGM, and ALKS Nov 20 call options.
