Being long. I was long the NDX from yesterdays close and I bought the RUT this morning when it was down slightly. RUT ended up closing positive slightly, but the NDX closed up a little less than 1% for the 2x funds.

NYX – Just bought this puppy today and it gets added to the S&P500 and S&P100 after hours. Popping 4.61%.

TOVC – Up 15% in a few days now. Up 9.2% today.

GBT – Bounced more today 6.4%. Up 67% total.

BWLRF – Moving its rear…Up 4.6% today. Flat since I bought it.

VSCI – Had a decent day today up 4%, but only up 6% total on the position.

XLNX – Bought the calls today near the close. Up 1.6% afterhours. XLNX is not one of my favorite semis. AMAT is starting to look like a buy now. When was the last time AMAT even looked decent (think semis and solar)??

*This sucked: ALKS – These call options are not working for me. Today ALKS was down in sympathy with NKTR news, but they make competing products for the same medical condition – inhailable insulin. Pfizer dropped NKTR and the product, but LLY came out and said they are in now way giving up on air based insulin. So this should be great news for ALKS. One of their biggest already on the market competitors got taken off the market and thrown in the trash. Why the stock is down today I don’t know. We’ll see if this changes though in the coming weeks. ALKS should use some good PR opportunities here.

I’m now heavy long (aka full position) in the indexes NDX/RUT going into tomorrow hopefully that will pad my profits. My index trading account is at a new yearly high. Its time to pop open a St Bernardus Tripel.
