Holy Smoketh! The market raged on as the short’s anooses burned.
Being long. I got 7.2% in the RUT and 6.06% in the NDX from yesterdays closing price. When I split my position, I actually slightly lost out on the opportunity to make more by being solely in the RUT. I’m not complaining though. It was a really big day.
I cut my position today and pulled the NDX position off the table and kept the RUT. I’ll look to take profits in the morning if we get carry over.
I’m most excited about this ICTL position. Its been cooking in my account since I bought it on July 7th and finally it breaks out on big volume. ICTL closed near its highs today, but not on the highs which I feel is positive. ICTL also has a high relative strength reading(5) of 94 on a daily basis. Sometimes RSI is treated as readings of overbought and oversold, however, when breakouts or breakdowns occur, these high/low levels of relative strength can get pinned up/down for longer than you think. This is especially true for low volume underowned stocks like ICTL.
