Being long the RUT. That sucked. The RUT ended down about 1% for the 2x leveraged funds, while the other indexes closed higher on the day. Taking my NDX portion to cash yesterday. That sucked too. The gain in the NDX would have offset the RUT loss a little bit.

What worked…

ICTL – It looks like the last price was 3.42. This is a 10% gain from my midday buy yesterday. A gain of 25% now in the older buy. ICTL looks like its going to be the standout stock in that basket.

SPLS – My options are flat at the bid, and up 20% if the ask comes in. I think these might end up being very profitable.

DAR – Breaking back upwards. If I was home I would have bought DAR today, but because I’m walking around all day on my vacation I missed the opportunity. I’ll look at getting back into this one again.

SCHW – Schwab

KR – Kroger

JOYG – Looks hot.

AMZN – Also looks realllllllly good.

I got to see Fast Money live today walking back “home.” Kinda exciting since I watch the show pretty regularly. Ok its in the top position on my TiVO and I rarely miss an episode unless I’m out of the country – Slingbox anyone? BTW TIVO had a monster day today.
