I talked about the confirmation that the EOY rally is underway around noon yesterday. Today we got more confirmation and you can replace COMPQ with SPX, RUT, INDU, and large number of ETFs, and stocks. The pattern is the same.

Being long worked today. Managed 3% in SPX, 2% in NDX. Missed out on 5.5% gain with the RUT that I got out of yesterday. That sucks, but still being fully invested and catching these moves are great.

JOYG – Had a nice recovery today after the stock opened $2 lower. JOYG hit a new high by the close.

DAR – Continued to move higher. I posted about my sale in DAR this morning, however, I still own a smaller position of it in another account. DAR popped 3% higher confirming the breakout. This sucks that I sold any of it today. DAR looked like it wasn’t going to confirm this morning, but thats why eod is so important. I may buy it back tomorrow, wait for a pullback or instead buy into ORCH or GNBT which both are on my speculative radars.

I talked about ORCH earlier this week, but GNBT is new call.

ICTL – Bounced to the second offer price.

MTW – Bought today. Looks good with the rest of infrastructure plays. SGR and FLR up almost 6% today. I was so close to going into SGR instead of MTW.

NYX – Nice breakout today.

ZOLT – Down today, but consolidated on low volume. Trend still working.

HSVLY – This Vanadium company from New Zealand is one I’ve talked about so many times before popped 7% today. Steel in general is hot though. I wanted to get into AKS today, but its already short term overbought. The whole steel sector was hot today with PKX, AKS, X, ZEUS, MT, etc.

UNH – Popped big today, just one I totally missed after posting about it.
