Being Short.

The puts are up about 7%, the QID position is up about 1%, the Rydex funds caught about 1% today as well. Overall very nice for a no big deal day. I’m still short with all positions mentioned.

Tomorrow will be interesting and Friday should be very entertaining.

URRE – I bought this yesterday and it saw a 9% pop at the highs and closed up 8%+. I’m not selling this sucker for awhile. The long term indications I look for have ticked up. Some sectors are starting to sparkle even with the market selling off. I mentioned that a total market selloff won’t continue for long and I think we saw the first signs of that today.

*I forgot to add:

ADM – Up 3% today. This one sector that I think will still go up in a market downturn.
TLG – A yearly portfolio hold was up 3.74%. That stock is seeing a good tape.
ONT – Which comes out with earnings tomorrow, closed up 4.13%. I love the sector this stock is in – web video.
