Being long. Marginal gains in the index funds. I’m expecting a strong close to the week with the SPX teetering on top of 1500 and NDX so close to 1900. Come on are they NOT going to get the NDX over 1900 while the tape is this strong? Who are they fooling? When I say “they,” I’m really referring to the man behind the curtain who controls the whole market.

BUF – Purchased two days ago and got a 12.4% pop today on FDA approval news. I’m up 13%+ in it. Congrats to me I didn’t sell. I went into this one with both hands. Purchased for my IRA as well as my second trading account.

HERO – You see it today? Up another 3.7%. That was a great call. I sold it in my family member’s account. 17% for them.

ONNN – Had a nice move today of 3.9% I’m rounding up. Up 8%+ so far.

USEG – Its still fighting. 4%+ comeback bringing my gain back up to 8%+.

TIVO – Still hanging onto a profit. 1.76%. Nothing in the charts for TIVO says sell. If I’m lucky I’ll get a runup into earnings on May 23rd. If I’m unlucky I’ll have to wait till earnings with little price action.

GSS – Up about 3%

LVLT – Bought perfectly. Up 3.5% from two days ago. LVLT doubled over the course of 6 months the last time it touched its weekly 50ma. What will happen this time?

I don’t know if it belongs in this section, but the yearly portfolio is really slacking. Down 10% so far. I’ve got less than thirty days for this thing to cook. Its been a long wait with no gain. If this portfolio finishes negative it will be the first time that this specific trading strategy finished negative going back to 1997 (backtested). I’ll see the strategy through, but its going to need some help. A takeover in one or more of the stocks would really help. :D
