Why Former Runners Need To Be Followed

A site and person I’ve followed for some time, and I’ve been on his chat room under a different alias, is Muddy. He has been a big proponent of tracking previous running stocks. The simple principle is big runners tend to make big runs more than once.

Lets take BRKR for example. BRKR is a stock I’ve traded in the past and have mentioned several times on SR before. I originally bought it on Feb 15th 2007, played around, locked in gains (it ran up 50%), and got out perfectly before the stock tanked for a 40% pullback. Now, I haven’t tracked BRKR ever since my little escapade with it. However, if I was still watching BRKR, I would have had seen that buy signals triggered back in September and I would have just rode the trade right into this pop (thats assuming I follow my system). Basically another 45%+ trip.

I wouldn’t have even noticed BRKR’s move today if it wasn’t posted on Trade 4 Cash’s big mover list. Track previous runners because if you don’t you can miss out on opportunity.
