Not really anything related to what I do here, but I saw Becky Quick ask the BVLGARI CEO about their new store opening in Japan. “Why Ginza?“, Quick says. The BVLGARI CEO smirked and kinda laughed then explained that anyone who is anyone in fine goods has to be in Ginza as it is the high end area of Tokyo and basically everyone knows that. Maybe a better question would have been, “Why haven’t you been in Ginza before and what specifically do you see as a reason to be in Ginza right now.”

I don’t even know why I care about this at all, I just found it annoying. I also like being in Japan, mostly outside the Ginza district.
