Man I love iStockManager! I installed this app a few days ago and wish I had this when I went to Orlando two weeks ago as it saved me thousands today.

So here is the scenario. I sold everything on my way to going to a midday movie to see The Watchmen. However, the Dow started dropping back from +13 to now -30. I’m literally walking out the door when I see the break happening again. So I commented that I RESHORTED SSO and repurchased AMZN puts.

Now I’m watching the The Watchmen, which btw is a friggin great movie, and I’ve got my Blackberry watching the market hover around Dow -73, then it tipped I saw -93 at one point. I know the Dow went marginally lower than that, but -93 was the lowest I was able to see as the data access was very spotty due to being inside the theater.

It just turns out that it was me being satisfied with the gain that it was also the low of the day before a rally took place. Pure luck.

Without iStockManager, streaming quotes to my phone, I would have NEVER been able to hit these trades.
If I didn’t have this app it would have been a pretty decent sized swing in my account. It turns out my signals turned to a buy at 3:30 as well.

iStockManager works great with Ameritrade and I highly rec it. I was not able to make a Rydex trade unfortunately, so I’m still short the NDX there. I figured we would have a WEAK week and we got it. I’ll save more commentary and stock ideas for another post. Until then, a great friggn week, the DRYS loss is history, and I hope it continues.
